Shared And Reseller Web Hosting
If you have a shared web hosting customer who occupies a dedicated IP on your server then it’s possible to send this customer the standard notifications that the WHMCS OVH Notification module offers.
For this to work, your customers dedicated IP must be listed in the dedicated IP field inside the customers WHMCS profile or the assigned IPs box. Should these be present in WHMCS the module will match any notifications from OVH to that customer’s account and sent the appropriate end-user notification to the customer. You can customize what the notification says in WHMCS > Email Templates.
Like in a shared environment it’s also possible to send OVH Notifications to users of VPS servers. If you convert dedicated servers to virtual nodes and then use OVH IP blocks to configure and setup a VPS server then the OVH Notification module will send the required notifications to your end-users assuming they have the IPs listed inside WHMCS. You can choose to deactivate reinstall emails if you wish as in the case of using your own virtual servers these type of templates will not be needed. IP blocks have to be listed as individual IPs in the assigned IPs field. In future versions, we hope to add support for subnets
Much like VPS servers if you resell OVH dedicated servers then you can also forward important notifications to these end-users. When a reinstall of a dedicated server is completed the OVH notification module will forward all the relevant details to your end-user. You can choose to enable and disable each notification from Setup > OVH Notifications. OVH Notifications are included in our WHMCS OVH Module and will allow the complete control of Dedicated and OVH OpenStack VPS Servers.
